Drayl sat in his room, laying on his bed. It was the last day of Summer break, the last day of freedom until Senior year. He sat up and ran his fingers through his spikey blonde hair. He glanced at the clock. 8:23 P.M. Seven minutes. His friends, Juliet and Cole, were coming over today just to hang out. He hadn't seen either of them in almost a week and he couldn't wait to talk to them.

"Last year!" Darin exclaimed to nobody, "Last year of school! ugh, but must i go?" he shook his head with a smile. "girls girls girls," he mumbled to himself happily, going to the bathroom, "great little girls."

"Come on." Cole whispered impatiently staring at his clock. It read 8:28, two more minutes. "Well, I guess Drayl wouldn't mind if I came over early." Cole walked out of his room.
"Mom! I'm going to Drayl's! I'll be back later!" He said running out of the front door.
"Don't be out too late!" his mom yelled back.
Cole groaned. 'Oh well. At least I'll get to see Drayl'. He thought running through people's backyards to Drayl's house.

Aerikai leaned against a tree. Sunglasses were pulled over his eyes and His dark hair fell messily over his ears. A group of girls stood nearby at a picnic bench, pointing and whispering. He flashed them a smile and they began to giggle.
"Beautiful blood." he murmured to himself.

Cole ran through the park. He saw girls at picnic tables. 'Typical' he thought, but then he caught someone that caught his eye. It was a guy his age wearing sunglasses. Cole had never seen him before. 'Must be new' he thought still running to Drayl's house. 'I'll ask Drayl about it when I get there'.
Cole ran up to Drayl's house and knocked on the door.

Worrith had seen him. the 'new guy'. He hated him already. "I hope he isn't going to my school," he murmmered to himself. He did, after all, practicaly own it. He had been with the girls, showing off with backflips and karate on one of the trees. Like usual, they stared awstruck at his ability and his gorgeous body. Then this guy came along and they started watching him. What does he have that i don't? Worrith thought. He watched the guy angrily.

"Worrith!" Darian yelled after his friend, going up to him and doing their "handshake." "you see the new guy?" he asked through clenched teeth, staring at the guy with glasses. Darian had the intention to come up to the park and bounce the ball around, watching the girls watch him. it wasn't going to happen this time.

The group of girls walked up to Aerikai and began chatting. He talked easily, his charisma kicking in, and made them laugh.

Drayl ran down the stairs as he heard knocking. He peered through the window and opened the door.
"Hey, Cole! What's up?"

"He's got long black hair. And he's a flirter. At the moment he's wearing sunglasses, and he's getting all the attention of the girls. I'll show him to you. He's just outside." Cole said not sitting down.

"Sure. I'll call Juliet and let her know where we're at."
Drayl grabbed the phone from deep in his jeans pocket and pulled it out. He dials in Juliet's number. It rung three times before going to voice mail.
"Hey, Juliet. It's me. Cole and I are going to be at the park so meet us up there, 'kay? Bye."
Drayl hung up the phone and stuffed it back in his pocket.

((Cole didn't call Juliet so how could he have put the cell phone away when he didn't use it?))
Cole walked out of Drayl's house leading the way. "Just think of how pissed Worrith and Darian are going to be when they see some new guy taking their girls." Cole said laughing.

"Yeah, I see him!" He hissed. He leaned against the table where the girls had been. He watched the mob and the new guy intensly. "I swear, if he does anything..." Worrith slammed his fist hard on the wood table and put a small crack in it. He looked up to see some of the girls kiss the guy. "That's it!" He yelled. Darian grabbed his arm and shook his head. "You're right. I'll give him what he wants...for now."

"Please, girls." laughed Aerikai as one of them came back from a kiss, "Now, I know you all love me, but I only want one girl."
Aerikai's eyes flashed up and stared at the jocks near the picnis tables. 'You were popular once, but not anymore' He chuckled to himself.
