Though no one had been there that day, Jinsei lay hudled under some bushes, waiting for someone to come by. She had been waiting for another one of her pack. After waiting a few more minutes, she yawned and crawled out into the pouring sky. The steady beat of the rain on the ground sounded almost rythmical. Jinsei shook her white fur and started walking quietly through the trees.

Kami awoke with a start. It was weird to dream about a dream you had before. She looked up at the roof of the small shack she lived in. She starred blankly at the brown wood, listening to the steady beat of heavy rain. In one swift movement, provoked by a sudden thought, Kami swung her feet out of bed and leaped up to her pawed feet. Two dogs happily jumped up to follow her. One was a yellow labrabor the other a chocolate labrabor. Kami opened her front door and wing smacked her coldly in the face. She looked around though slitted eyes and then stepped outside into the rain. Her dogs relucently begin to follow, but a swift growl stopped then and they both laid down side by side and whinned for a moment. Kami ignored then and sniffed the air. The rain plastered her hair to her face blurring her vision. But it didn't matter, she had already caught the faint sent. The scent of one of her kind; a half like herself. She dropped to all fours and barked, calling her dogs to her and then took off towards the town and the base of the mountians at a lope.

"I feel...wierd." Matsuri said suddenly stopping. "Something's coming. Something...not entirely human. Something like me." she turned and looked around her, seeing nothing but the dark, wet streets. Not a single living thing walked them, no one wanted to be out in this weather.

Kami stopped at the entrance of the village and righted herself. Her labs panted but stood still by her side. She had been in the village few times, and they were not good. SHe had been run out by men with torches three years ago and had not stepped foot in the village once since. The men here did not like wolves and when she had lived here in her childhood, men tried to kill her when she came full into her wolf at age 10. That was when she had left the village, returning only twice when she needed medicines. It took alot of effort for her to take that first step into the village, but she did, tail and head held high. Nose in the air, she followed the scent carefully avioding the few people out in the stormy weather. Thunder clapped and the lightning flashed. She could smell the scent stronger now, and new where it lie.

Kami slowed and darted behind a building watching the little girl. She growled at her labs and they went forward. The labs crawled forward on their bellies in plain site, submissivly. They whined in unison and the chocolate labrabor pawed at the little girls' feet. the yellow labrabor nuzzled Matsuri's hand.

"Sure." Takai said. He led her through the streets and further out of the village. At the very edge of the village borders was a small building. It was made of bricks and had two windows in the front. Takai walked upto the dark brown door and unlocked it, using a small key. Then he opened the door, let Matsuri go in first, went in himself, then closed and locked the door.

"Does she not speak the tongue yet?" Kami thought to herself as her labs loped back to her. She looked at the small house with a sigh. Her labs nudged her for attention. All three were wet and it was getting cold. Kami starred at the covered moon looking for answers. She sat on the muddy ground for a while, her dogs in her lap then stood up and walked to the door of the house. She sat on the steps summoning up the courage to knock. She nudged the door with her head and whinned with her labs. Her ears starred pricked forwards.
