"I WON'T LET YOU TAKE HIM!" she screeched as the creatures disappeared into the dark, "I WON'T LET YOU! YOU CAN DO THIS!"
Tears streamed down her dirty face, making a path in the thin layer of dirt. Her pale eyes were red and swollen from crying and her normally light skin was splotched with dark freckles. She had dirt and mud covering her clothes and skin, mixed with the crimson hues of blood. The curly red and orange hair continued to She continued her sobbing, her body shaking violently as her cries echoed through the cave.
Byeka's nails were digging into the ground where the creature had been only moments ago. She doubled over as she sat there, unable to stop her sobbing. After a moment, she slowly got to her legs which were shaking terribly. She wrapped her arms around her stomach before slowly turning around, hobbling out of the cave.
"I can't believe he took him... My baby... He took my baby..." she whispered, her eyes barely creased open as she continued to trip over rocks and branches. She continued to whisper beneath her breath as she tried to find her way out. She had to save him. She had to. She had to save her son. She couldn't let him just stay there. He would get hurt. He would hurt him.
It started out with a soft chuckling. Then it became full-fledge laughter. It was menacing and evil, which matched the deed he had just committed. A boy sat in the corner of the room, shaking with tears in his jade-colored eyes. His brown hair stuck to his sweat-covered forehead. He watched as the man turned slowly into a Human, blood dripping from his mouth which was creased into a crazy grin. He watched the boy cower and shake with amusement, beginning to laugh harder as the child cowered.
"Now I've only got you to finish off." hissed the creature, it's eyes crazy with hunger, "Kayador Awroack."
Kayador awoke with a start, his heart racing in his chest. He brought a hand over his heart and doubled over in the bed for a moment, the memory fresh in his mind. His hair fell over his eyes, beads of sweat dampening it and causing it to stick to his forehead. He closed his eyes tightly for a moment before opening them and glancing at the clock next to his bed. '8:56 PM' was flashing on the digital clock. He let out a sigh and turned off his alarm which he knew would turn on soon.
His eyes wandered over to the window in the small apartment and he could see that the sun had set behind the horizon. He let out a small sigh and swung his tan legs from the bed and sat on the edge for a moment. He tried to push out the face of the werewolf from his mind, but it stayed there, haunting him. It had let him live for a reason, a reason that Kayador took to heart.
It was because that werewolf had wanted Kayador to kill him.
