Yugo followed Bakuryo. He looked around, his wolf senses kicking in. "Come on." Yugo said as he walked down the steps and into the woods that surrounded the house.

Shina took a drink from her water bottle and then headed up the stairs and out of the basement. She grabbed clothes from her small room and then headed to the bathroom to shower. As she stood in the shower, she closed her eyes and thought. The Crest on chest burned. It was a dark green and looked like a mix between the sign for Scorpio and a "Z". She still wasn't quite sure why she had it- but knew it was her father's fault.

Bakuryo followed Yugo into the forest, letting him lead. "You smell anybody?" he asked, worriedly.

"Yep." Yugo took in a deep breath. He relaxed a little, "It smells like Uriko." He took in another deep breath, and tensed again, "But there's someone with her."

(( but Shina's in the shower  )) Shina shook the thoughts of her father from her mind and dressed in the cargo pants and mid-driff, forest green shirt. The Crest seemed to blend with the shirt, looking like just an intricate design on it. She sighed and walked to the crude living room. SHe slipped on socks and her sneakers and walked outside. The forest was peaceful and she let a sigh escape her lips. With a deep breath, she jumped off her porch and began jogging in the forest. (( Well, now she's not. )) |

(neato! we all live around/in the same exact forest! what a coincidence! OMG i'm going to have Long's mountain be right by the woods!then we can all live happily near each other! lol))
Bakuryo relaxed. "We know all the other's around here," he said. He surveyed the area for any sign of people. it was darker than usual but with his eyes, he could see fine.

Shina's eyesight narrowed as she ran across the forest. She could hear peoples'... no... Zaonthropes' heart beats in her head. She stopped and looked around, her breathing steady. Her muscles tensed, readying herself for anything.

Bakuryo couldn't see anyone but they continued walking. He looked over at Yugo. Yugo held his head in the air, taking in deep breaths. Bakuryo could feel the vibrations of another person, but he didn't know who. All of a sudden, he grew tense. His crest seemed to swell and it became hot. His eyes flashed red but only for a second. No, not now, he thought.

"Who goes there?" barked Shina, hearing footsteps to her left. She turned and saw two figures. Their features were blurred, but she knew they weren't humans.

Bakuryo was trying to control himself. "Shina?" he yelled at the figure. "Is that you?"

Shina recognized Bakuryo's voice and walked towards him. She soon saw that he was Yugo and her muscles relaxed. She bowed to them and then stood up straight.
"What are you two doing out here?" she asked calmly.

"We were looking for Uriko and, obviously, you." Yugo said still giving Bakuryo a worried look. He could tell something was wrong with Bakuryo, but he didn't know what.

She was always the one to get straight down to business. There was never time for laughs or jokes. She needed to get down whatever it was and make sure it was perfect. Because "good" was not in her vocabulary.

Bakuryo clenched his teeth and forced a smile at them. "No, I-I'm okay," he muttured but they still looked at him. He suddenly doubled over and grabbed his back, starting to glow.

Yugo caught Bakuryo as he suddenly fell. He turned to Shina, "We have to get him back to my place."

Bakuryo looked straight at Yugo. His eyes flashed red again. "What's happening, Yugo?" he asked quietly. "This isn't normal."

"I don't know. But I do know that we have to get you back to the house." Yugo put Bakuryo over his shoulder and he walked quickly back to his house, Shina right on his heels.
