Shadin stared at the strange, bright object confusedly. In all her time in the mortal realm, she couldn't remember what it was. She gently poked it and stared at the light box.
"What... is this thing?" she asked, watching the images on it, "A communication device?"

Ethilon and Terriella burst out laughing. "It's called a tv! You watch movies and stuff on them! It's for entertainment!"

Shadin raised an eyebrow at the "TV". She stood in front of it and studied the images.
"Doesn't this hurt your eyes?" she asked, looking back at them, still bowed at the TV.

"Why not swordplay? Or practice magic? Or play with your Zangrils or Partins?" asked Shadin, looking back at the TV, "This seems like it would be formidilose boring."

Ethilon's stomach hurt now. "What?!" he choked, so confused and amused now he didn't even care about the movie.

Terriella was laughing, too, but quieter than Ethilon. "I actually have no idea what you're talking about it's quite funny listening to you ramble on."

"Well, you'll learn soon enough." shrugged Shadin, "All in good commodum."
Shadin walked over to an armchair and sat with her spine straight, her elbows on the arm rests with the tips of her fingers touching each other,making a small pyramid as she studied the TV.

Terriella giggled quietly,watching Shadin.She shook her head,then returned her attention to the television.
An hour and a half later the movie was over and Terriella's head was leaning against the back of the couch,her eyes half way opened.

"They do have historical things.It's called the history channel."Terriella said,then stood up,walking to the t.v.,changing the channel to Discovery."There ya' go." she yawned again,walking back to the couch,falling back on it and curling her feet up on it, resting her head against the back again.

Shadin sat a foot away from the TV and stared at it intently. They were talking about some group of humans called "Notzees"- well, that's what she thought they were.
