"Now, let's look at the demonstration." said Kaysanoff, turning to the large window, "Shadin will show you some of the things a stone can do on some virtual enemies. Whenever you're ready, Miss Strife." He added into the microphone.
Shadin gave him a nod and he pressed a button on a keyboard. A virtual warrior appeared and Shadin made a small smile. She took out her stone and whipped it, but still keeping it in her hand. A flaming sword formed in her hand and she began to duel with the VW.

"Holy--" Ethilon said, cutting himself off. He had not expected the stone to be able to create matter. He also wondered how she could hold fire. "That's amazing," he muttered. They all watched, intrigued, as Shadin fought fiercly with the warrior.

The warrior knocked the sword from her hand and it became the stone again and landed on the other side of the room. Shadin backed up a few paces to avoid the VW's sword and shot her hand out towards the stone. It flew from it's spot to her hand. A fierce look came in her eyes and she began to shoot out flames from her hands.

As Ethilon watched the battle intensify, he felt an extreme energy within himself. He wanted to use those powers. He wanted to use his stone. He wanted to learn how. Ethilon had always loved power.

"You might still be able to. Shadin said she thinks we are all involved and that there are two other stones. If this is true, you would get a piece. What element it would have...well, i'm not too sure." Ethilon smiled reassuringly at her. Shadin took one final blow and knocked the warrior to the other side of the room. He vanished the same way he had appeared.

As soon at the virtual warrior disappeared, forty others filled the room. They began attacking her and then flames engulfed the room, covering completely to where you could see nothing.

"I sure hope so!" Ethilon exclaimed. "Look at that, though. I feel like i'm going to die after I hold water for twenty seconds. Imagine how long it would take to train for that?" They watched the flames grow higher. Then they shone brighter for a second and disappeared. All of the warriors were on their knees and suddenly disappeared. "I wonder if there's more?"

Shadin was left completely unscathed. She grabbed a sword from one of the virtual warriors before they disappeared and sliced it across her arm. Sickly crimson blood trickled down her arm. She placed her stone on the wound and it healed, leaving the small insignia that was also where she had healed Terriella's wound on her side. Now, if you looked closer, you could see at least seven other marks on her body.

Zach felt light headed. he had his stone in his hand and was concentrating on a spot. he thought hard about his action, using all of his mind, then there was snow on the spot he was looking at on the couch. he leaned against the wall and fell to the floor, not being able to see anything. "holy crud," he whispered, leaning against the wall, trying to get back up. he slipped back down, only able to see furry figures.

(( Furry figures? Were they werewolves?   Jk. )) Master Kaysanoff looked over at Zach. ' You shouldn't be using your stone!', he thought, mentally scorning the boy. He shot out his hand towards Zach, several feet out of his reach. Zach floated a few inches of the ground and then his body floated and landed gently on the couch. They were all staring at him with awe. "I'm a Kinestanite." he answered them simply, "But that means nothing now." Ethilon was about to rush over but Kaysanoff stuck his hand out in his path. "Your friend will be fine. Allow him to rest." Shadin walked in and saw Zach on the couch. "Did he try to use his stone?" she asked calmly. Her Master nodded, then told the rest of them, "For future reference, do not try to use your stones unless I direct you to." |

Ethilon thought of the two times he had already used the stone. He pushed past Kaysanoff's outstretched arm and walked slowly over to Zach. "I always knew you were stupid," Ethilon said with a smirk as he bent down by his friend. Zach gave a small grin. Then Ethilon stood and turned around to face the others. Shadin rolled her eyes at him and made a small smirk.

"That was....was..." Zach croacked out, "that was awesome. that was so fun!" he slowly leaned up onto an elbow and then sat up completely, his vision back. "i'm fine," he said, shaking his head, his hair flying everywhere.

"not to be rude at all Master," Zach said, bowing his head down in respect, "but honestly, i didn't seen Ethilon when he used the stone. If i had known that's what was what had happened to him, then i wouldn't have used mine." Zachary got up and bowed down his head. "i'm sorry for the disrespect and disobedience," Zach apologized. although it may not seem like it, Zach was always one to respect his elders, teachers, role models, and adults in general.
